Making music education accessible, relevant, and fair for all students is a pressing issue for all music educators. Please join us for professional development sessions to connect, inspire, and challenge for equity in music education from leading educators in the field.

 

Keynote by Ruben Rodriguez and Michael Yaffe from the Yale School of Music and contributed to A Call to Action for Music Teachers and the Declaration on Equity in Music for City Schools.

Break out session topics to include: Choosing and Arranging Repertoire for a More Culturally Releveant and Student Centered Classroom; Supporting LGBTQ+ Students in the Music Classroom; Instrument Repair for All; Remixes and Sampling the Music Classroom.
