Horns For Kids has 49 musical instruments available now — free to Connecticut school music programs. Music teachers and school administrators are encouraged to apply by downloading the application from the Horns for Kids website: http://www.hornsforkids.org. Applications must be received by end-of-day on Tuesday, June 1. Instruments will be awarded to schools, based on need. All instruments awarded are clean, playable, and in excellent condition.
Horns For Kids is a non-profit organization that supports music education in Connecticut schools. It awards donated instruments to deserving school music programs throughout the State. Since 2003, more than 300 Connecticut schools have received instrument awards. If you would like to donate an instrument not presently being used, contact Horns For Kids by calling (203) 288-9771 any weekday between 9am-6pm. Or, visit the website at: http://www.hornsforkids.org. Low brass instruments, saxophones and strings are especially needed. We are also interested in pianos.
