77th Annual In-Service Conference Keynote Speaker Announced!

Join CMEA as we welcome Franklin Willis as the keynote speaker for the 77th annual In-Service Conference!

Franklin Willis, a nationally recognized music educator, author, and clinician champions academic excellence through the arts. Recognized for his instructional facilitation and ability to foster inclusivity, he leads by example and encourages colleagues to recognize the brilliance in every child. Willis, the former Community Impact Director for the CMA Foundation, significantly advanced music educations initiatives in Nashville and across the country. Recently, Willis was appointed Fine Arts Director with Metro Nashville Public Schools which serves over 81,000 students. He will lead the district in crafting opportunities to ensure every child in “Music City” not only experiences but also thrives through artful encounters.
