There will be a long-term music substitute string/general music teacher opportunity available in Hartford, CT at Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy. The position will start in late August 2026 and end in mid-November 2026. This is a maternity leave position. The grades that will be covered are 6th-12th grade. Please note: The school schedule has rotating classes meaning, classes will not meet at the same time every day.

Experience:
Preferably a person with a background in strings, experience teaching middle school general music or general music, and or experience teaching percussion, beginning piano or beginning guitar. In addition, experience teaching in an urban setting would be helpful but not required.
In addition, for newer teachers, this would be a great opportunity to add to your resume and gain some teaching experience. I am also willing to help mentor and be available for questions.
Teaching Certification is not required but preferred.
