Call for Session Proposals

Proposals accepted through July 12, 2024

The 2025 Eastern Division Conference will be held from April 24th to 27th, 2025, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT, with conference sessions held Thursday, April 24th-Saturday, April 26th. As educators, we seek to advocate for, celebrate, and elevate our students through music education.

The NAfME Eastern Division is calling for conference sessions exploring how we can further advocate, celebrate, and elevate ALL of our students. The Eastern Division Conference draws hundreds of educators from ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, Europe, and beyond. Professionals of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to apply!

The application deadline is Saturday, July 12, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by a committee, and you will be notified if your session(s) has been chosen in our first round of submission selections by Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Call for Performing Ensembles

As educators, we seek to advocate for, celebrate, and elevate our students through music. The Eastern Division Conference draws hundreds of educators from CT, DC, DE, EU, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, and beyond. We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive community where participants and members of all backgrounds can access events, programs, and services and be treated fairly. Performing ensembles of all ages, experience levels, cultures, and genres, are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Saturday, July 12, 2024. The Conference Chair will issue invitations to appear at the 2025 Eastern Division Conference by September 3rd. PLEASE NOTE: You may be asked to share a concert hour with another performing group.
