Join us for a day learning and discussing current topics that address diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in music education today! We look forward to welcoming keynote speaker Dr. Albert Lee, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Equity, Belonging and Student Life at the Yale University School of Music. Other workshops will be offered throughout the day in addition to performances by the Bassick High School Jazz Band and Voices of Hartford!

At the Yale School of Music, Lee teaches in the academic-studies area and serves as Director of Equity, Belonging, and Student Life—­contributing to the development of the curriculum, creating initiatives for students, faculty, and staff, and overseeing student participation on University committees and in affinity groups and student government.
