CMEA Annual Recognition Awards

We all know fellow music educators in our state who are dedicated to perfecting their craft. Some of these educators have been teaching music for several years now, and some are showing great promise in the early start of their careers. Their jobs are made possible by supportive principals, arts directors, and other administrators. CMEA would like to recognize the hard work of these teachers and administrators.

Nominate those fine professionals that you know for consideration for one of CMEA’s Annual Awards.

Awarded to a music educator with at least 6 years of experience who has demonstrated excellence and dedication to the field of music education.

Awarded to a promising music educator with no more than 5 years of experience who has demonstrated excellence, dedication and perseverance thus far in their career.

Awarded to an outstanding administrator who has shown great support and guidance to the music educators they oversee.
