Professional Resources
CMEA is committed to providing resources that support the professional goals of pre-service, new and veteran music educators. Professional development opportunities take place throughout the year from one day workshops, hour long events with a specific focus, to our comprehensive, multi-day annual conference in addition to more informal networking for members attending one of our several student events.
Please check out our PD Year at a Glance to see all dates and pricing for PD opportunities through the 2024-25 school year! Check back often for more specifics coming soon!
The CMEA NEWS magazine publishes informative articles on all areas of music education and provides insight into what’s happening in music classrooms in our state and beyond.
Visit the job board to view teacher vacancies across the state.
Take advantage of the CMEA music library of ensemble repertoire from which members may borrow to use with their school ensembles.
Speaking of ensemble repertoire, check out The Virtual Ensemble Project and all the resources it has to offer.
