As an exhibitor, we invite you to attend the NAfME Eastern Division Conference in Hartford, CT, April 24-26, 2025. This year, nearly 1,000 educators from ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, Europe, and beyond. We will also have over 700 students in six different ensembles.

Exhibits are vital to our conference since music educators depend on the music industry for the tools to supplement their teaching skills. Music exhibitors can display their products and services to those who influence purchasing. You will reach an exclusive music education audience. We aim to make this a successful and valuable conference for you, our advertisers, and our membership.

Call for Session Proposals

Proposals accepted through July 12, 2024

The 2025 Eastern Division Conference will be held from April 24th to 27th, 2025, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT, with conference sessions held Thursday, April 24th-Saturday, April 26th. As educators, we seek to advocate for, celebrate, and elevate our students through music education.

The NAfME Eastern Division is calling for conference sessions exploring how we can further advocate, celebrate, and elevate ALL of our students. The Eastern Division Conference draws hundreds of educators from ME, NH, VT, NY, MA, CT, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, Europe, and beyond. Professionals of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to apply!

The application deadline is Friday, July 12, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by a committee, and you will be notified if your session(s) has been chosen in our first round of submission selections by Tuesday, September 3, 2024.

Call for Performing Ensembles

As educators, we seek to advocate for, celebrate, and elevate our students through music. The Eastern Division Conference draws hundreds of educators from CT, DC, DE, EU, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, and beyond. We are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive community where participants and members of all backgrounds can access events, programs, and services and be treated fairly. Performing ensembles of all ages, experience levels, cultures, and genres, are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is Friday, July 12, 2024. The Conference Chair will issue invitations to appear at the 2025 Eastern Division Conference by September 3rd. PLEASE NOTE: You may be asked to share a concert hour with another performing group.

Performing Ensemble Application

2025 NAfME All-Eastern Honors Ensemble

Submissions will be accepted August 30, 2024 – October 1, 2024.

The application fee is $20

The 2025 All-Eastern Honors Ensemble will be held from April 24th to 27th, 2025, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.

An eligible student must:

  • Be in grade 11 or 12 during the 2024-25 school year
  • Attend schools in one of the eleven Northeastern states of the United States (Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont), the District of Columbia, or a Department of Defense School in Europe
  • Have been selected to perform/served as an alternate in their state’s 2023-24 All‐State festival (or have been selected to perform/served as an alternate in their state’s 2024‐2025 All‐State festival – (based on state requirement) on the instrument/voice part for which they are applying except for Modern Band.
  • Be a member of his or her school’s choral or instrumental ensemble corresponding with the ensemble for which the application is made, except for Modern Band.
  • Receive endorsement from his or her school’s principal or superintendent and ensemble director, who must be a current NAfME member.
  • Your state’s music education association may determine additional eligibility rules, which your state president will communicate to directors.

Applications will be reviewed by the Eastern Division Board, including state presidents.

Acceptance letters will go out to sponsoring ensemble directors on December 15, 2024.
